SEE & DO

THINGS TO DO IN AKKO

Market Tour

Stroll through the charming alleyways of Akko’s market  (The Shuk) to discover the many aromas of authentic Middle Eastern specialties. Relax in one of the cafes and hummus joints hidden between colorful stalls of  typical Arab spices and pastries.

Knights ' Halls

Throw yourself back in time when wandering these echoing 800 years old chambers. Get into the smells and sounds of this captivating citadel built by the Hospitallers and discover the daily life of this monastic military order.

The Templars' Tunnel

Do not miss the 350- meter passageway animated with projected films on the walls, which connects the Templar palace to the port. Built by the Templars themselves, who were established in Akko in 1187.

Al Jazaar Mosque

Only second in size - after the Jerusalem mosque-, Al Jazaar is probably one of the most beautiful mosques. The green dome dominates the city skylight. This sanctuary was built in 1781 by the Ottomans.

Perfect place. We spent a whole weekend  at Sriwaty Home and enjoyed the incredible ambiance. The bed was comfy. We had lot of fun going around and discovering old Akko. Can't wait to come back.
